What is a travel advisor?
I am truly blessed to work in an industry that I love so much. I have the opportunity to work with clients to plan their milestone celebrations, the family vacations that their children will cherish forever, the annual vacations to de-stress, and to make exploring all the riches of the world easy and enriching instead of intimidating and frustrating.
While I am fortunate to have a loyal client base who consistently refer their friends and family to Louisa White, one question that I get sometimes when meeting someone new is "What is a travel advisor anyway?"

It is true that you may not fully understand what a travel advisor does. So to help explain things a bit, here's a brief summary of why my clients love working with me and keep coming back again and again:
First, I protect their precious vacation dollars and hours. I've been to these destinations, seen the hotels, know the locations and I take time to get to know my clients as well as possible. So I do a great job at matching them with the right experience. I'd hate to see them wasting money on the wrong vacation, even if it is a great price. If there is somewhere that I haven't been to yet, rest assured that I have a vast network of trusted partners around the world who can be relied upon for their insight.
Second, I save them a lot of time and hassle. There is so much information on the internet these days and it's hard to know what's accurate and what's not. Thanks to my expertise, I know the options far better than most and I am able to zero in on the best options very quickly. Just think of how overwhelming it is to simply Google "Paris vacation" or "Hotels in Barcelona" and you can see just how much information is out there. In addition, I'm the one that sits on hold, checks fares, prices, etc saving them hours and hours of mindless time.

Third, I can get them special treatment they can't get on their own. Thanks to my relationships with travel suppliers, I can often get amenities, upgrades and other special VIP touches that my clients don't have access to. So even though many DIY vacationers may pat themselves on the back for saving the $100, I often get my clients special amenities worth way more than that.
Fourth, my job doesn't stop when they book their travel. I go the extra mile to find great restaurants I know they will love and book the reservations, book extra special activities, golf tee times, shore excursions, hair appointments, private shopping experiences, and I love adding my own touches. I also prepare my clients for travel, so there are no surprises. I check if their passports are current, help them with packing advice, and even tipping guidelines.
Finally, I'm only one phone call away. If my clients experience unexpected surprises during their travel like a missed connection, they know they have just one phone call to make and I will take care of the rest. Just try getting help from one of the online mega-agencies!!!
That being said, some people are just in to the DIY travel experience. And that's fine! Do whatever makes you happy. But if you are looking for an exceptional, turnkey experience is both meticulously planned and seamlessly executed with the knowledge that I have your back every step of the way, then give me a call and let's get to work!
