Be a VIP at the Tower of London

Updated: Jan 15, 2021

Louisa White Travel’s VIP Experiences are specially curated to ensure that we transform your travel from ordinary to extraordinary. Sound a bit cliché? Perhaps. But how else would you describe going behind the scenes at some of Britain’s most famous landmarks? See a prime example of one of our VIP Experiences below…

Next summer, I am thrilled to share with you that our trips to the Cotswolds and London for Britain in Bloom will include several VIP Experiences that are sure to make your trip unique. While Louisa White tours are always limited to a small number of travelers – 14 to be precise – with a total of 16 when your Travel Directors are included, we have gone the extra mile to ensure that you will be avoiding the crowds when you travel with us.

Learn about the legend of the ravens at the Tower

One of the VIP Experiences you will enjoy on our first departure next summer, July 9th through 18th, is an incredibly special evening at the Tower of London. Beginning at 6:30pm, well after the Tower has closed to the public for the day, you will arrive at the West Gate and be greeted by a Yeoman Warder. The Warder will take you on a short tour of the Tower as you make your way to the Jewel House where the Warden of the Jewel House will welcome you to the treasury for a private viewing of the Crown Jewels. One of the most common questions people ask when visiting the Jewel House is “Are they the real ones?” Yes, they certainly are. The Kings and Queens of England have stored their crowns and ceremonial regalia at the Tower of London for over 600 years, and it was in the 17th Century following the Restoration when the Crown Jewels you've seen on TV began to be protected here at the Tower of London. The Crown Jewels are quite possibly the most visited objects in the world, with over 30 million people having visited them in their current setting. The line to get in the jewel house is notoriously long, and many visitors attempt to arrive at the Tower as early as possible to be first in line. But, good news, there is no need to set an early alarm and stress out about lines when you travel with Louisa White!

The Tower of London

Both of our tours to London and the Cotswolds next summer include a private viewing of the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London. Our first departure, which includes the evening visit, is almost completely sold out, with only 4 spots remaining as I write this. If you are interested in attending, please contact me straight away to reserve your spot.
