Celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Next year is Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee, which will be celebrated from the 2nd thorough the 5th of June. This is a historic milestone as Her Majesty will be the first British monarch to reach 70 years on the throne. Over the course of this four-day weekend, London will celebrate with an exciting line up of events. Trooping the Colour, held every year the celebrate the Queen's birthday, will kick off the events and will include the flyover by the RAF that is watched by the Royal family from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

The weekend will also feature beacons being lit all around the Commonwealth in recognition of 70 years of service, a “Platinum Party” concert at Buckingham Palace, and a traditional service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral. The Queen will, of course, also attend the Derby at Epsom on Saturday.
